With the participation of Midsalip Municipal Police Station spearheaded by OIC-Police Inspector Kenneth Caralde Soon – the Local Disaster Risk and Management Council headed by Geoffrey Palomares Denopol-LDRRMO of this municipality conducted a National Simulteneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) held in the grounds of Midsalip Municipal Hall on Friday 31, 2017 of March 2017 around 09:00 O’ clock in the morning.  Various National and Local agencies paritcipated.  This drill aimed to intensify local eathquake preparedness and increase the commitment of local government units in building safe communities.
